結団式＆第1回事前研修会の様子 | The formation ceremony & the first preliminary training session
2024年5月26日(土)に熊本市中央公民館にて2024年度の熊本市・ハイデルベルク市青少年交流事業に参加する高校生を対象とする結団式と第1回事前研修会が熊本市教育委員会地域教育推進課主催で実施されました。
団員らは8月1日から8月10日までの10日間、昨夏に熊本に受け入れたハイデルベルク市の高校生であるパートナー宅にホームステイすることになります。結団式では、この貴重な体験の機会を活用したいという団員らの決意が表明されました。
引き続いて開催された事前研修会では、これまでの交流事業に当時高校生として参加した大学生や社会人の方々から体験談を聴くことで、団員らはこの事業に参加することで訪れることが期待される未来について意識するようになり、その未来を実現するために自らが取り組むべきことについて、各々思いを強くしていました。
ご協力いただいた本事業の卒業生の皆様、貴重な体験を共有してくださってありがとうございました。
On Saturday, May 26, 2024, the Kumamoto City Central Public Hall hosted the Kumamoto City Board of Education's Regional Education Promotion Division for the Kumamoto-Heidelberg Youth Exchange Program's first pre-departure training session for high school students who will participate in the program in FY2024.
The participants will stay at the home of their partner, a high school student from Heidelberg who stayed in Kumamoto last summer, for 10 days from August 1 to August 10. At the formation ceremony, the members expressed their determination to take advantage of this valuable experience.
At the pre-departure training session that followed, the members listened to the experiences of former high school students and adults who had participated in previous exchange programs, and became more aware of the future that they could expect from their participation in this program. They were also able to strengthen their own ideas about what they should do to make that future a reality.
We would like to thank all the alumni of this project for sharing their valuable experiences with us.

伝統あるこの交流事業においては多くのアルムナイ（卒業生）が輩出されています。事業に参加しハイデルベルクを訪問することで貴重な経験を得たアルムナイのみなさんは、折に触れ近況を共有するなどゆるやかにつながっています。
今回、大学生になった4人のアルムナイに対して、必由館高校教諭の中野友加里先生から後輩である交流団員たちにオンラインで経験を共有するとともに薫陶をいただきたいとお願いしたところ、こころよくお引き受けいただきました。これこそ恩送りですね。
アルムナイのみなさんは、チャンスを逃さず自ら進んで行動すること、訪独の経験を自らの将来にプラスに活かすために努力を続けることを教えてくださいました。アルムナイの方々も、この交流事業での経験を糧に、まさにいま、それぞれの夢に向かって猛進中でした。※滞在中のコペンハーゲンからオンラインでメッセージをくださったアルムナイも！
交流団員らは、訪独の不安解消と共に、それぞれの夢が明確になったようでした。アルムナイのみなさん、お忙しいなかにご協力いただきありがとうございました。
Many alumni have graduated from this traditional exchange program. The alumni who participated in the program and gained valuable experience through their visit to Heidelberg are loosely connected, sharing their recent activities from time to time.
This time, when Ms. Yukari Nakano, a teacher at Hitsuyukan High School, asked the four Alumni who are now university students to share their experiences via online and to provide them with some advice, they graciously agreed to do so. This is a great pay-forward.
The Alumni taught them to take chances, to be proactive, and to continue their efforts to make the best use of their experience in Germany for their own future. The Alumni are now moving forward to pursue their dreams inspired by the experience of the exchange program. One Alumni participated online from Copenhagen, where she was staying!
The exchange members seemed to have clarified their respective dreams as well as relieved their anxiety about their visit to Germany. Thank you very much, Alumni, for taking time out of your busy schedule to cooperate with us.

アルムナイのひとりである疋田弥紅さん（2015年-16年熊本市ハイデルベルク市青少年交流事業参加者：現在公益財団法人勤務）から団員に対してハイデルベルク訪問を意義あるものとするために重要となる3つの観点でメッセージをいただきました。業務による欠席された疋田さんに代わり内藤がメッセージを読みました。

One of the alumni, Ms. Miku Hikita (participant of the 2015-16 Kumamoto City-Heidelberg Youth Exchange Program: currently working for a public interest incorporated foundation), gave a message to the group members from three perspectives that are important for making the visit to Heidelberg meaningful. Ms. Hikita was unable to attend the meeting due to work duties, so Mr. Naito read the message on her behalf.
I would like to express my appreciation for your courage and energy in deciding to participate in this program.
The experience you will gain from this program will be a turning point that will change your life significantly.
The relationships with friends gained through the exchange program are important treasures.
